The Guest List for the Ramsey's Christmas party Dec. 23, 1996, 5pm-8pm
* John and Patsy Ramsey, Burke (9), JonBenét (6)

* Don Paugh (Patsy's father)

* Fleet and Priscilla White, daughter Daphne (5-6), son Fleet (7-8)

* Mr. & Mrs. R.A. Brown (Priscilla's parents)

* Cliff Gaston, boyfriend of Priscilla's sister, Allison Shoeny (attended alone, without his

* The Barnhill's boarder, Glenn Meyer, was not invited. He went to the house to tell the Barnhills something about the dog barking and was invited to join the party. He did for a short time.

* Linda Hoffmann-Pugh, her daughter, Ariana (12)

* Bill and Janet McReynolds (Santa)
.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another way to look at this -
.
There were 5 children ages 6- 8: 4 girls and one boy: 2 Barbers, 2 Whites & JonBenet.
.
There were 4 boys 9-10: Stine, Ramsey, Fernie & Fernie friend.
.
There were 2 older girls: Fernie & Hoffman Pugh.
.
The Ramseys had invited their circle of friends - the Whites, Fernies, Stines, Barbers, Barnhills (the Walkers were invited but did not attend) and THEY had brought assorted parents and other relatives.
.
In all there were 23 adults at the party (including Santa and his wife).
.
34 people at that party - THAT makes a rather full house!
December 14th
.
The Ramsey's allowed a group from their church, the Foyer Dinner Group, to use their home for a Christmas pot-luck supper. John and Patsy were not members of the group, but they were asked if their home could be used, and they agreed. 25-30 people attended.
no guest list available to public
.
Patsy stayed home during this party. The group actually ran short of food and Patsy called out for Chinese food.
.
***** ****** later told police he had attended that party. He was a member of the church, a "self-styled prophet" who hated Father Rol. Father Rol felt ***** ****** was mentally unstable.
(name deleted as it is a name not public. I don't know if that person was investigated by the BPD - I expect the DA group looked into him - not sure as they aren't sharing their investigative files.)
There was a little show at the Southwest Plaza, pageant winners strutted their stuff in the mall. JonBenét was there. It was sponsored by America's Royal Miss and was carried on the local TV station.
No list of people who attended that event.
This was a Sunday - a member of the church - **** ***** (notto be confused with the gentleman in the last post who is an entirely different individual) was at the church, saw Patsy and JonBenét there at the service and heard someone say, "Don't you just want to strangle her?" **** ***** recognized the man later and in March of 1997, he would call the authorities with the story.
The man was, if memory serves me right, the man from the earlier post.
(Sorry, records stored elsewhere, I am 99% sure it is the same person...)
The point is - - if we had lists of people at different places, we might spot someone who was "interested in being near JonBenét".
There was also someone who approached a red BMW convertible that JB was riding in during a Christmas Parade that year - I just read about it in DOI.
So the 2 men were at the Ramsey's Party alone and their wife/girfriend arrived after the Ramsey's Party and before the White's Party ?
The females were in Boulder on the 23rd, just opted not to attend the party at the Ramsey house. The men did attend.
Somebody named 'Foyer'? They usually meet in the foyer?
Sounds like some sort of "single adults" group from the church. Should we assume its a bunch of 'losers'? Or more likely to contain a few 'losers' than some other group might be?
>The group actually ran short of food and Patsy called out for Chinese food.
Yeah, sounds more and more like a group for unattached adults who are attending the church. Running out of food sounds like disorganized "losers" unable to know how much food would be required and unable to raise sufficient funds to obtain it.
>***** ****** later told police he had attended that party.
means the cops talked to him for some reason.
>Father Rol felt ***** ****** was mentally unstable.
As a 'self styled' prophet, I'm sure the church officials would feel he was mentally unstable.
Any comment about 'just strangle her' is significant irrespective of exactly who the "her" refers to.
The foyer group was a group of people from the church who would meet at each others' houses to share a meal. Usually they met in small groups, 2-4 couples, maybe. But for the holiday they decied to all meet at one place - and they needed to borrow a larger house to accomodate all of them. The Ramsey's were nice enough to let the group use their house.
Well, here again we are met with a common stumbling block in the investigation: "couples". It was a murder that took place during the holiday season which is certainly a time when 'couples' tend to be together and whereabouts are either verifiable or else the spouse is a co-conspirator.
4-8 people at most meetings, but apparently more at the annual get together for which they had borrowed the Ramsey home. If its still 'couples' its difficult to imagine someone sneaking out for most of the evening and night and not having his absence detected.
Now if it had been the church's Singles Group, that would be different, but a couples group makes me less suspicious even though spouusal complicity is not impossible.
"The Ramsey's were nice enough to let the group use their house."
I wonder who approached the Ramsey's about using their house.
..and that's when someone could have taken the writing pad and pen from the house too ...
I wonder if everyone knew each other or if there was a new member, or were some new members of the church there because of the Holidays.
From reading the posts about the man thought to be unstable, it might be possible to conclude that he is not part of a 'couple'. There was no mention of 'they' being unstable or of 'his wife is okay, but he's a nutcase'.
All it would take is for there to have been an 'extra' person at the gathering. Pad access on that date would not have been necessary.
Yep. Check out the lay of the house, make a mental note of where pad and pens were kept, sneak a peek around upstairs, discover an unlatched window or three, possibly spy one of John's paystubs...
Check medicine cabinet--everyone does.
All kinds of possibilities between this church party, contractors, the help and the Christmas party.
Rainsong--waiting for 9PM.
Sometimes people may use the word "couple" as loose as they use the word "friend" - may not have been spouses or significant others, but maybe together for the event, to have a nice dinner around the holidays.
Access to the pad wouldnt have been necessary, as in Rainsong's example, only to have noticed it there. <grins> And yeah, check out the medicine cabinet.
(doublechecks vcr settings) - 14 minutes
